Win2003 Setup Tips

1. Turn on DirectX's D3D hardware acceleration:
See Desktop Properties, Settings -> Advanced -> Troubleshooting -> Hardware Acceleration -> Complete. Run dxdiag.exe and open the Display tab. You can see that all 3 items are enabled. Finally, use Windows updates to install DirectX 9.0a in Windows Server 2003.
2. Enable the sound card:
After the system is installed, the sound card is disabled, so enable it in Control Panel -> Sound -> and reset it to display it in the taskbar.
Now we have to enable audio acceleration. Enter Services.msc in the run and press Enter. The Services window will appear. Find the

Enter Services.msc in the run and press Enter, find and double-click the Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) service, set the startup type to Automatic, click Apply and click Start then click OK.
7. Display all components in the Control Panel:
Replace "hide" in the sysoc.inf file in the Windows\\inf directory.
8. Disable boot CTRL+ALT+DEL:
Administrative Tools-> Local Security Settings -> Local Policies-> Security Options-> interactive logon: Do not require CTRL+ ALT+DEL, disable it. Use with caution! If you are not good, you will not be able to enter the system.
Note: For system security, the administrator's password should not be left blank at the beginning of the setup.
