Master tricks: install two routers at home

Nowadays, homes are equipped with wireless routers, so that many people can access the Internet at the same time. However, wireless routers have the disadvantage that the signals are unstable, and some rooms will not receive signals. At this time, we can install a router again, so that the whole family has no network blind zone.

Use wireless router A as the primary wireless router to connect ADSL cats and network cables, and wireless router B to establish WDS connections through wireless router A.

First, set A route to network, the basic settings of the wireless router.

Second, wireless router B settings.

1. Enter the IP address, account number and password at the bottom of the route through the network cable, log in to the B route, and modify the IP address of the LAN port. In the network parameter-LAN port setting, modify the IP address and A router differently (prevent IP address conflict), such as 172.168.1.2, save, the router will automatically restart.

2. Enable the WDS function. After the reboot is complete, log in to the wireless router B with the changed LAN port IP address, and tick “WDS” in the Wireless Settings - Basic Settings. Here SSID is set to the same as the recommendation of the A router, so you can roam within the coverage of these three routers, that is, as long as you are connected to the network at random, you can also go to another point in this range. Go online without reconnecting.

3.WDS Settings. Click “Scan” to search for surrounding wireless signals. Select the B router SSID number in the scanned signal list, as shown in the figure below TP-LINK_841_B, click “Connect”.

Set the channel to be the same as the B router channel. Set the encryption information to be the same as the B router, “Save”.

4. Turn off the DHCP server. In the DHCP server, select “do not enable ”,“save” to restart the router.

Wireless router B configuration is complete. At this time, the wireless router B and the wireless router B have successfully established the WDS.
