This is because by default, standard MP4 files are rendered using DirectShow, while MP4 files made with QuickTime Pro are rendered using QuickTime. The specific setting method is as follows: In the "Start” menu, run “ Storm Video Comprehensive Settings”. Next, select "MPEG-4 Decode Settings" in the left side of the window that opens, and click the "Next" button. Then, in the window that opens, change "MP4 Rendering Mode" to "QuickTime" (Figure 2). Finally, click the “OK” button.

Tip 2: Unable to load subtitles

By default, it is impossible to load subtitles into RMVB files in Storm video. To add subtitles, you must set them accordingly. For example, to play a local RMVB file, you can open the options window and select “Output" Next, in the window on the right, select “WMR7 (no conversion)” in “DirectShow Video”.

If you want to play online video, also in this window, set the “RealMedia Video” option to “DirectX 7”, click the “OK” button. In this way, return to the main window of Storm Video, click “ File → Load Subtitles, then select the subtitle file, click “ Open & rdquo; button to complete the subtitle loading.

When playing a bilingually suppressed movie using Storm Video, many people don't know how to switch channels? In fact, the method of operation is very simple: open the options window, and select “Audio Switcher” under “Filter” on the left.
