How to save files is safer

Data is the most valuable thing in a computer. This article describes how to implement data double insurance to protect them. There is a theory that eggs should not be placed in the same blue. Similarly, for important data, we always worry about losing, and it is usually safer to back up the same file in another location. However, after many files need to be backed up, it is very troublesome to do it manually. We can implement automatic backup through some methods and tools. Local hard disk dual backup & mdash; — Win7 native backup If you just want to back up local data in another partition, you can easily use the backup component that comes with the system. For example, every day, you need to periodically back up the C drive's "My Documents" to "D:\\My Documents". Expand “Control Panel →System and Security →Backup and Restore", click “Set Backup”. After starting the backup wizard, select "Let me choose", select the backup destination <;C:\\Users\\current user\\Documents”, define the location where the backup is saved, click “Browse”Select“D:\\ My document & rdquo;. Finally, click ““Change Plan” under “Settings” to set the backup time, such as before work every day, so that the system will automatically back up your personal data to the D drive at the specified time (Figure 1). . Tips ★ If you just copy the file after the specified date, you can use the xcopy command that comes with the system. For example, you only need to back up the data after May 2010, you can start Notepad input “xcopy k:\\My Documents d: \\aa /d:5-1-2010” Make a batch file. In the future, as long as the batch is executed, the files generated after May 1, 2010 can be copied to “d:\\aa” this directory is saved. Local + U disk dual backup & mdash; — Filegee For those who often need to use computer in different places, it is more convenient and safe to back up local data to the U disk that you carry. Filegee is a synchronous backup software that automatically copies files to a USB stick. After starting the software, click “New Task → New Task”, then in the window that opens, you can see that the software supports multiple backup methods, which can be selected according to your actual needs. For example, if the capacity of the USB flash drive is small, just copy the newly added files, you can select “Accumulate Synchronization", so that each time you copy, just copy the newly added files (folders) in the local directory to the USB flash drive, and It is named "Automatically copy data to a USB flash drive" (Figure 2). The remaining operations follow the prompts of the wizard. The source directory selects the files (folders) that need to be copied locally, and the target directory selects the U disk. After returning to the program interface, click “execute”, the program will automatically copy the local file to the USB flash drive. This software also has automatic recognition function (according to the U disk partition serial number), if it is inserted into the same U disk, it will automatically complete the copy, but if you insert other U disk, it will pop up a prompt, then you need to manually confirm Copy the file (Figure 3). Local + intranet dual backup & mdash; & mdash; CrashPlan local dual backup Although the operation is simple, but if the local hard drive is broken, the data is inevitably lost, so the safer way is to backup the data to other computers. For example, when editing a manuscript, you can back up the manuscript to the unit server at any time, so that even if your computer is broken, the manuscript can't be lost. With the CrashPlan tool, you can easily turn your organization's intranet into a cloud server, and the manuscript backup is fully automated. First install CrashPlan on the local computer and register a user, then install CrashPlan on any computer on the LAN and log in to CrashPlan with the same account. Start the program Click Change under the main interface, select the source file to be backed up, assuming it is “My Documents”, the program will automatically scan the folder after selecting (Figure 4). Click “Another computer”, at this time, the computer list will automatically list the internal network computer installed CrashPlan, select and click “ start backup & rdquo;, so the current computer “ my document & rdquo; The file will be automatically copied to the intranet computer. The default backup is in the directory “ C:\\ProgramData\\CrashPlan\\backupArchives” on the target computer (Figure 5). The files you edit in this directory will be automatically updated to the manuscript server, which is very convenient. According to your actual situation, choose the above backup plan, your data will be more secure. This article comes from [System Home] www.xp85.com
