Commonly used software prompts sound custom

In Windows, you will often hear some prompts, but we may not like these sounds. Now let's try how to change these default tones to your favorite music.
1. System Sound
Open the "Control Panel" and double-click "Sound and Multimedia". Select the "Sounds" tab in the window that opens and select the appropriate Windows sound event (such as "Menu Naming", "Program Error", etc.). There is a small speaker on the left side of the event that represents the sound of the event, and vice versa. Select a sound event with sound, click “Listen” to hear the sound; if you want to add or change a certain sound, just click the “Browse” button and then find the sound you like (see Figure 1).

2.QQ sound settings

3. Sound Settings in Avant Browser

Click "Tools→Avant Browser Options", then switch to the "Browse" tab, where you can set the sound when filtering pop-up web ads. (Figure 3).

4. Sound Settings in Foxmail
Right click on the email account we created, select "Properties", select the "Receive Mail" item in the pop-up window, and then select " The "Play sound when new mail arrives" check box, and finally click the "File" button to select the corresponding sound file (Figure 4).

5. Let MSN use its own voice
Open the "Control Panel" and double-click the "Sound and Multimedia" icon. Drag the scroll bar to find the MSN Messenger item. Select the "Contact Online", "New Notification", "New Message" and "New Mail" items, respectively, and change the sound through the "Browse" button.
6.CuteFTP sound customization
Select "Edit→Settings", click the "Sound" category under "Display" in the window that opens, and you can select the corresponding sound after each event ( As shown in Figure 5).

7.FlashGet Sound Customization

Select "Tools→Options", click the "Events" tab in the "Options" window, check the "Open Sound" checkbox, and then Select the appropriate event and click the "Browse" button to select your favorite sound file (Figure 6).

8.Nero Burning Rom Sound Settings
Select "File → Settings → Sound", check the event, and then click the "Browse" button to select the corresponding sound (such as Figure 7).

9.Total Commander Sounds
Select "Configuration→Options", click the "Miscellaneous" tab in the open window, click the "Set Sound" button at the bottom (Figure 8), then the “Sound and Multimedia Properties” window will pop up automatically. Drag the slider in “Sound Event” to find the Total Commander category, and you can set the transfer completion, copy/move completion, delete completion, etc. Prompt sound.

10. Outlook Express and Outlook Sound Settings
If we check "Sound when new mail arrives" in Outlook Tools "Tools → Options → General", Outlook Express can alert us when new mail arrives. To modify this sound, you also need to go to the "Sound and Multimedia Properties" window, find "New Mail Notification" in the Windows category, and click the "Browse" button to change to your favorite sound. With the sound of Outlook Express set, the Outlook sound settings will change.



Set a new email alert sound in Outlook, select the menu "Tools → Options → Preferences → Email Options", click "Advanced Email" in the "Email Options" window that pops up. "Options", then check "Play Sound" in the "New Mail Arrival" category.
11.WinRAR
When decompressing with WinRAR, it often encounters the failure of decompression due to the damage of the compressed package. Here, an error window will pop up and there will be an audible prompt. This voice prompt can be turned on and off. In WinRAR, select "Options → Settings → General" and uncheck "Enable Sound" in the "Interface" item. WinRAR's sound uses the system default sound, also enters the "Sound and Multimedia Properties" window, find the "default sound" in the Windows category and change it.
More friends may not want the computer to make some sounds at work, so we can turn off these sounds as described above to create a quiet working environment.
