I. Immunization method for IE users [strongly recommended]

If the system is win 2000/XP/2003, please enter in "Start" → "Run":

notepad.exe %windir%\\system32\\drivers\\etc\\hosts

If the system is win 98/me, please enter in the "Start" → "Run":

notepad.exe %windir%\\hosts

If prompted:

Cannot find file hosts.txt

Does not create a new file?

Please select No

Add the following at the end:

#kill taobao

0.0.0.0 www.taobao.com

0.0.0.0 page.taobao.com < Br>

0.0.0.0 search.taobao.com

0.0.0.0 taobao.com

After saving, restart your computer. (XP/2003 system does not need to be restarted)

If you are prompted to find the file hosts.txt in the previous operation, please follow the steps below to save:

Use menu: File--> Save as

In the "Save File As" dialog box, change the file type to "All Files (*.*)"

and enter the file name: hosts

Click the [OK] button.
