1. Run the program and open the expression function.

Enter setting - general (General) - keyboard (keyboard) - international keyboards - add new keyboards: There will be an emoji or emoji in Japanese. Pick that one. Then it will appear with other keyboards. When typing with iphone, click on the circle (small earth pattern) in the lower left corner of the keyboard to switch between different keyboards. This will include emoji. Then you can use ^^ 2. Exit the program, open the settings in the iPhone - General - Multi-language environment - Keyboard - Japanese - Turn off the Emoji expression function

If the recipient is using an iPhone, you can use the Emoji icon to send a text message, otherwise it will not display properly! However, be aware that sending an icon to a non-iPhone user will not work - some phones will silently ignore the entire message!

Emoji icons can be used almost anywhere in emails, text memos, website forms, or anywhere you can type text! – These icons are only displayed on iPhone or iPod Touch, and are not visible to non-iPhone/iPod Touch users! These icons appear as garbled or blank characters.
