DreamMail email transceiver software latest tips to share

DreamMail (Download) is a very powerful and excellent email transceiver that has many features over Foxmail and Outlook Express. In recent days, I have discovered some techniques to make it keep up with the times, so that it is always advanced and allows us to work better.

1.Automatic Update

Select "Tools→Options", and then click the "Automatically detect new version after starting the software" check box in the "General" tab (Figure 1) ), so that DreamMail will detect the new version as soon as it starts. Of course, we can also choose "Help → Check New Version" to manually detect it.

2. Update the address of the letter

The source tracking function can clearly show the country and region of the sender, even to a department or a building. (Figure 2).

The IP address in the incoming address will change dynamically. How to use the latest IP address database? In fact, just download the QQ IP address library from here, then extract all the files from the DreamMail installation folder, overwrite the original QQWry.Dat file, double-click the ShowIP.exe program, and click the "Upgrade Online" button. Upgrade the IP address pool (Figure 3).

3. update the blacklist

Blacklist list, export the txt file to the desktop, click the "Options" button on the toolbar in DreamMail, click "Spam/Filter" → "Blacklist", then click "From File import, and then open the txt file to import these addresses into the list (Figure 4).

If you manually add a blacklist, you can also click the "Export to File" button in the window of Figure 4 to export your blacklist and then share it with others.

4. Automatically delete expired mail

DreamMail has occupied a lot of market as a rising star. It is also very powerful for mail sorting, you can automatically delete expired mail: first start DreamMail, then click the "Options" button on the toolbar, then click "Exit /Auto Delete" under "General", and then select "Automatically delete messages older than xx days in the list of mail folders" and set the number of days, such as 10 days. Click the "Add" button below to add the corresponding mailbox (Figure 5).

After the above operation, the mail in the corresponding mailbox for more than 10 days will be automatically cleared, which saves us the trouble of manual removal.

5. Use your own expressions

There are a lot of favorite icons in QQ. Do you want to add them when you write? Open the QQ installation folder, copy all the files in the lower Face folder to the Face subfolder under the DreamMail installation folder. When writing the email, click "HTML Edit Mode" on the toolbar to switch it. Go to the HTML editing mode and click the "Insert Emoticons" button to use these cute icons.
