IE's alternative Web failure

Colleague's laptop installed operating system is Windows XP, for some reason, it is lent to others. After the computer is sent back, it will appear strange: desktop icons and fonts are normal, but use IE to browse When the webpage is displayed, the font of the web page becomes large, the layout is confusing, and the background color disappears.
At first, I felt that the problem was very simple, so I started to fix it. First of all, in order to determine whether it is an IE problem, after downloading the non-IE core Opera 7.23 Simplified Chinese version browser from the Internet and installing it, the page finally shows up normally, but colleagues are not used to using Opera. On the surface, it seems that IE itself has problems, so I made a big move to IE, but after trying various means, I have failed.

1. Adjust the "Text Size" option under the IE "View" menu, fail;

2. Change the "Font" and "Color" settings in "Internet Options → General". Failed;

3. Adjust the "Display" property setting under "Control Panel" to adjust the default font size, fail;

4. Change the IE related parameters in the registry and reinstall IE 6 SP1, failed;

5. Switch to other browsers based on IE core, such as migration, GreenBrowser, etc., fail;

6. In the command state, the display from other displays is normal The common fonts such as "Song" and "New Song" were copied on the computer and failed.

Internet query, found that other users have encountered similar problems, are to re-install the operating system to solve the problem. I feel that the only way is to reinstall the system, but I am unwilling to click on it. I randomly click on the "Control Panel" option and suddenly find that there is a "Display" tab under "Accessibility Options". Click on the tab and see "Use". The High Contrast option is checked, as shown in Figure 2. After clearing this option, restart IE and the fault is eliminated.

Figure 2 Accessibility Options

The "Use High Contrast" item in the Accessibility Options was originally designed for people with visual impairments. By using an optional color combination to increase the screen contrast, it is easier for these users to view the screen, and by changing the font size, these users can be made easier to read. However, I did not expect this small measure for the visually impaired people to create a small trouble for normal people to use IE.
