Tencent Traveler Browser (hereinafter referred to as TT) is a free multi-page browser launched by Tencent. It is installed by default when we install QQ. Of course, you can also log in to Tencent's homepage to download TT separately. The browser's installation file. TT not only provides multi-page browsing, but also provides user-friendly features such as ad filtering, mouse gestures, and auto-filling. I have used TT for a long time and summarized some experiences. I will share it with you.

I. Clearing the History Protecting the System Security

When we surf the Internet, we always leave some clues. These Internet traces may bring security to our system. The “Clear Browsing History” function provided by TT browser ensures that we have no trace on the Internet and allow hackers to take advantage of it.

Click on the "Tools Menu" to select the "Clear Browsing History" item (Figure 1). Here we can clear history, cookies, Cache, address bar and other historical browsing records according to our own situation. We can also clear all data at one time to protect the security of the system.

Second, easy to filter the ad browsing page is smooth

When we open some websites, there are a lot of advertising windows popping up, which not only hinders us from browsing the page, but also wastes system resources, can There is a good browser that filters the pop-ups of the ads, which will bring us great convenience in surfing the Internet. With proper settings, the TT browser can partially or completely filter out pop-ups, allowing us to surf the Internet more smoothly.

TT browser's ad filtering can filter ads in two cases. When we surf the Internet, if there is a pop-up ad window, it will block as shown in Figure 2 in the upper left corner of the browsing window. Window, we can click on the "Filter this page", "Filter this page", "Filter all pop-ups" below, according to the situation, after selection, TT browser will filter the pop-up window according to our requirements. We can also set it by “TT option” in the “Tools” menu (as shown in Figure 3), and filter the pop-up window according to the setting requirements. In the window, we can set the level of the filtering window to prevent the window from popping up, or manually add it. Method, add the address of the filter window to filter the ad window.

Open the "TT Options" window, click the "Download" tab, remove the checkmark in front of "Use the cyclone download plugin", click OK (as shown in Figure 4), and then click the download address link, then there will be no more whirlwind The window is gone, and it becomes the familiar save dialog box.

Fourth, powerful recent browsing function

Have you ever encountered a good webpage, when we are interested in browsing, an illegal operation, the page is closed and regrets With the TT browser, you no longer have to worry about the page being closed. We can find the 15 recently visited pages through the recent browsing, which greatly increases the efficiency of our surfing (Figure 5)

V. Uninstalling TT is easier

TT browser is installed silently when we install QQ. Some friends may not be used to using TT browser, want to uninstall, but install in control panel. Uninstall inside, go to see the TT browser figure, then what do we do, now, the latest version of the QQ installation directory, there is an "uninst" file, run this file (Figure 6), we can The QQ, TM, TT and QQ games are uninstalled one by one. Don't worry about TT jumping out automatically in the future.
