MyIE experience 1

MyIE provides a total of 7 startup modes, including "Open the last visited page", which is popular among you, because it can continue to browse the last page visited by MyIE, eliminating the need to re-find and enter the URL. However, everything has advantages and disadvantages. When I restarted MyIE to open multiple webpages, I suddenly encountered a malicious code pop-up window. The window actually came from the download page of a regular music website. The analysis was because it was not registered from the homepage and was considered stolen. Chain, which triggers malicious code
Forced to close MyIE and start again, MyIE first pops up a dialog box asking "Whether to continue the page that was viewed when the last error occurred". At this time, if you select "No", MyIE will only open a blank page, so although it avoids the attack of malicious code, it will lose other useful web pages.

In theory, since MyIE has the function of remembering the last access URL, there must be a file in MyIE that stores the URL record. Just find this file and edit it to avoid malicious websites.

Use Notepad to open the newly saved ".ini" file under myie2\\config. The result is the link address of the malicious website in the [UndoUrl] field in the "myie.ini" file, but it is proved by experiment. The [UndoUrl] field saves only the contents of the MyIE menu "Edit → Undo Close Window", regardless of the startup. Continue to find, and finally confirm that the relevant URL is saved in the "myvis.ini" file "lastvisit=" field, but since MyIE encrypts the content, ordinary users can't edit it at all.
Tip: MyIE is right The content in "lastvisit=" is encrypted, but the content in UndoUrl is completely open. In order to make up for this deficiency, the user can enter the MyIE setting "when closed" option, select "clear undo records". At the same time, other options are also recommended for users to select to improve the security factor of web browsing.

Is there an easy way to close a malicious window while retaining useful web pages? After repeated experimentation, the author recommends the following method:

1. Remember the address of the malicious web page or the window position that appears, and then forcefully close MyIE through the task manager;

2. Disconnect the network;

3. Restart MyIE and select “Whether to continue the page when the last error occurred” dialog box, select “Yes”;

4. In the already open The target is found in the window. Since there is no connection to the network at this time, there is no need to worry about triggering malicious code. Double-click the corresponding window tab to close the window. Then exit MyIE directly;

5. Connect to the network and start MyIE again. At this point, the contents of the window have been falsified.
