Secret 5: Create folders in batches

If you are working, you often have to create many identical folder structures (such as when backing up data). That can make WinRAR complete this tedious work: first set up multiple folder structures in the "Resource Manager" (including the subfolders under it), then select and right click on these folders, select WinRAR → " Add to compressed file, select the check box in the "Create self-release format archive file" under "Compression Options" in the open settings window, and click the "OK" button. Then rename the generated EXE file to folders.exe. In which folder to create the above folder in the future, just copy this file to that folder, double-click folders.exe, and click the "Install" button.

Start "Notepad", enter the following statement:

"Settings"=dword:00000000

Save it as limitrar. Reg file, double click and import this REG file and import it into the registry. Start WinRAR, you will find that the menu is not available, and pressing the Ctrl+S key will not bring up the "Settings" and "Select Toolbar Buttons" windows, which is relatively safer

Tips

★ Change 00000000 in the above statement to 00000001 and save as unlim.reg. Double-click to import the unlim.reg file to restore the menu and allow the Settings window to be used.

★ The Menu item is set to 0/1 to disable/allow the WinRAR main menu, and the Settings item is set to 0/1 to disable/allow "Settings" and "Select Toolbar Buttons" Dialog.

★ If you are using Windows 9x/Me, please change the above Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 to REGEDIT 4.

密七七: Quickly decompress RAR archive specified file

If you want to extract the specified file in the RAR archive, after opening the RAR file, select "Options" → "File List" → "Plane folder view". All the files in this RAR archive will be displayed (included in the corresponding folder), just click the corresponding button, such as name, size, type, modification time, path, just like in Explorer. Wait, you can sort all the files in the RAR package, so that you can see at a glance. After sorting by file type, use Ctrl or Shift to select the specified file, and drag and drop it to the folder to quickly decompress it. Press Ctrl+H to cancel the flat folder view mode.

Tips

First switch the RAR package to the flat folder view mode, then click the "Type" button, all the files in the package will be placed together (such as all .tmp file), first select the first file, hold down the Shift key and not release, then click the last file, select the corresponding file, press the Del key to delete the same type of file in the RAR package.
