The steps are as follows:
1. Rename the SoftwareDistribution folder:
Press and hold the Windows key +R key to open the run, in the input box Enter services.msc and press Enter.
Double click to open “Windows Update”service.
Then click on the “service status” button below to turn the startup type to “disable”.
Then rename the C:WindowsSoftwareDistribution folder to SDfolder.
