Windows 10 CPU usage is high, how to do

Method 1:
Press the Win button, enter regedit to enter the registry editor, expand the following HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesTimeBroker, find start on the right, change its value from 3 to 4.
It's a reminder that modifying this value will affect Cortana's performance, which is one of the possible reasons for the CPU's high occupancy. If you don't use Cortana, you can refer to this method.
Method 2:
Another reason for CPU usage may be the P2P sharing service used for background updates. You can choose to turn off P2P sharing. Method: Open System Settings — Update & Security & mdash; Windows Update & mdash; Advanced Options & mdash; Choose how to provide updates, & "Updates from multiple locations"
Method 3:
If you are using the Win10 Home Edition system and have the Windows Spotlight feature enabled, it may be that the background service of the feature causes the CPU to be extremely high. Open System Settings — Personalize — lock screen interface, select other background mode.
Method 4:
Windows prompt function may also lead to high CPU usage. This function will push some notifications about system features according to the user's operating habits. If you are already familiar with Win10, you can turn it off. Open System Settings — System — Notifications and Actions, close “shows tips about Windows”.
