How to set up IE browser to prohibit website pop-up window

On the Win10 system, many users are still accustomed to using IE browser, but when browsing websites, they often encounter some websites pop-ups, especially pop-up ads are particularly annoying. How to set up IE browser to block website pop-up window under Win10?


1. Open IE browser and click the Settings button.

2. Select the Internet option.

3. Go to the Content tab.

4. Tick Enable pop-up blocker.

5. If you want to allow some websites to pop up, you can click Add to add.
6. Click OK to complete the operation.
Manually setting up IE will be a bit more troublesome, but more detailed. If you only want to block pop-up ads, you can use the ADBlock ad filter master to complete.
