Windows 10 mail application already supports TLS protocol Default disable

About three years ago, Microsoft launched the first Modern version of the mail application on Windows 8, and now the Windows 10 built-in mail application is finally updated to support TLS (Transport Layer Security Protocol).

Windows 10 mail application already supports TLS protocol
Since most mail servers have cancelled SSL 3.0 support, Windows users may experience connection problems when using the mail application. However, in the latest Windows 10 preview, the mail application has been updated to support the TLS protocol.
The test shows that since the application first establishes an SSL connection, the specific operation process still has some minor problems, even if the port is manually changed. In the Advanced Settings section, Microsoft provides an option to receive emails with SSL disabled, but for better security, it should now be disabled by default.
But Microsoft has not made this change yet, and it is unclear whether Windows 8, 8.1 and Windows Phone 8 versions will support TLS after the update.
