Win10 how to set the photo viewer as the default viewing tool

Win10 system, by default we look at a picture file, the system will run the Metro style photo application to open this picture (as shown below). But many people prefer to use the traditional Windows Photo Viewer to view images. So how do you make the Windows Photo Viewer the default Win10 viewing tool?



1. Right-click on the image file and select Properties to bring up the Properties dialog box.
2. On the right side of the open mode, select Change.

3. In the options that appear, select Windows Photo Viewer.

4. Click OK to complete the operation and view the effect.

This way, the photo file system that opens this format will use the Windows Photo Viewer by default instead of the photo app. After all, the photo application that appeared from Win8 is not used by most people.
