Win10 view two ways to start the system

  

After the Win7 system, the startup mode of the Windows system is divided into the traditional BIOS and the new UEFI boot mode. It is obvious that the UEFI boot mode is better than the BIOS. So how do we check the startup mode of the system under Win10?

Method 1: View the BIOS mode in the system information

Win + R shortcut opens the “Run” dialog box , enter “msinfo32”, OK, open the “system information” window. Figure:

In the right window of the "System Summary", you can see the "BIOS Mode" information, if the display is "traditional", that is, the BIOS boot mode; The display is "UEFI", which is the UEFI boot mode.

Method 2: Check the Detected Boot Environment in the setupact.log log file

Open the setupact.log log file in the C:\\Windows\\Panther directory of the system partition, and then find Detected Boot in it. Environment item, you can see whether the startup type is UEFI or BIOS. As shown in the figure:
