Win10 can't open the solution for location service

The positioning function is especially important in mobile devices such as tablets. The Win10 system supports the positioning function natively. However, sometimes the service may fail to start, resulting in the application of the location service such as maps not working properly. At this point, open the settings - privacy - location, you will find that the location service open button is gray unavailable status, then how to solve it?

This problem is usually caused by the normal startup of the location service in the system. You can solve the problem as follows:

1, press Win+R to open the operation and enter services. Msc enter to open the service;

2, find the service named Geolocation Service in the service, double click to open its properties.

3. Set the Geolocation Service service startup type to manual in the properties, click "OK" to save the settings;

4, return to the service window, select Geolocation Service service, click "Start" on the left to start the service;

5, then in the settings - privacy - location you can see that the location service's open button has been restored available, click Turn it on.

After the above settings, the system's location service will be available, and the application functions such as maps will return to normal.
