Win7 "Easy Transfer" can not find the file how to do

  
Many users using Win7 encountered a problem, this problem mainly occurs in the file easy transfer function.
Phenomenon: When you use Windows Easy Transfer to restore data from Windows 7 in a cross-partitioned migration store, you receive the following error message:
When Windows Easy Transfer cannot open the file.
Cause: This issue occurs when the migration storage file for the spanned volume is not in the same location or the migration storage for the spanned volume is corrupted.
Solutions
Method 1: Verify the location of the migration storage file
1. Click the Start button and then click “Computer” to open the Explorer.
2. In the upper right corner, type *.mig in the search box and press Enter.
3. Please note the location of all files with *.mig, *.mig01, etc. *.mig extensions.
4, please ensure that all files with *.mig extension are in the same folder.
If they are not in the same folder, follow these steps:
1) Select a folder in the migration store.
2) Select all *.mig files listed in the "Search Results" window and do not select the migration folder in step 4.
3) Click “Copy” on the "Edit" menu.
4) Open the folder, and you choose to click “Paste” in step 4 and on the "Edit" menu.
Please try running again  Windows Easy Transfer”.

If Method 1 does not solve the problem, please try Method 2
Method 2: Copy the migration storage file to another location
1, right click on the blank area on the desktop, point to &ldquo ;New ”, then click “Folder”.
2, migrate Temp, the folder is named, and then press the “Enter” key.
3. Click the Start button, then click “Computer” to open the Explorer click.
4. In the upper right corner, type *.mig in the Search Computer box, and then press the “ENTER” button.
5. Please note the location of all files with *.mig, *.mig01, etc. *.mig extensions.
6. Select all files with the *.mig extension and listed in the "Search Results" window.
7. Click on “Copy” on the "Edit" menu.
8, open the migration Temp folder, and then click “ paste & rdquo; on the “ Edit & rdquo; menu.
9, run Windows Easy Transfer, and point to the location where the Temp folder is migrated when you transfer files and settings to your computer.
If Method 2 does not solve the problem, please try Method 3
Method 3: Check the hard disk error
Use the Chkdsk tool to check the disk problem. To do this, follow these steps:
1, click the Start button, then click “Computer”, open the Explorer
2, right-click the drive containing the migrated file, Then click on Properties.
3. On the Tools tab, click Check Now in the Troubleshooting area.

4. Click to select the "Automatically fix file system errors" checkbox, and then click to select the "Scan and try to recover bad sectors" checkbox.
5. Click “Start”.
6, if you receive the following message: "Windows can not check the disk, it is in use. Do you want to schedule a disk check the next time you restart your computer? & rdquo;, click “ Schedule Disk Check & rdquo;, then restart your computer:
Tip: Disk check may take a few minutes depending on the amount of hard disk. For best results, do not use the computer to perform any other tasks during the disk check.
Please try running Windows Easy Transfer again.
