Ubuntu12.4 on Windows 7 (x64)

  
For the purpose of installing dual systems, but the U disk can not boot Ubuntu, the following method is very effective.

Startup Selection: Legacy
1.U U Master Partition
U Master U Disk System Win03pe Toolbox V2.1
Disk Allocation (Primary Partition)< Br>(hd0,0): swap
(hd0,1): ext4
(hd0,2): NTFS(C:); win7(x64)
Second, EasyBCD install Ubuntu
Download EasyBCD (current version is V2.2)
1. Add New Entry->NeoGrub->Install
2. Configure

Note: (1) Use the primary partition (2) installation file (ubuntu- 12.04.3-desktop-amd64.iso)
3. Download the ISO file
Download the installation file to C:
4. Extract initrd.lz and vmlinuz.efi in the casper folder of the installation file. 5. Use Legacy mode
Rename vmlinuz.efi file to vmlinuz
6. NeoGrub boot installation
Restart the system. And select NeoGrub Bootloader (NeoGrub boot loader)
7. Disable loading CD
Execute in terminal: sudo umount -l /isodevice
Click the desktop installation icon to install normally.
