Win7 manual removal of the printer driver detailed steps

When uninstalling the printer, sometimes it is impossible to uninstall automatically for various reasons, or if your printer is manually installed, you can only uninstall the driver manually when uninstalling. How do I manually uninstall the driver?

Click Start - find and click on the device and printer (at the bottom of the control panel): just right click on a printer icon and select Properties;

In the popup Switch to the driver, click Delete,
then select Remove Drivers and Drivers Package, click OK.

If it can't be deleted, stop: printspooler service, delete all files under C:WindowsSystem32spoolPRINTERS directory, restart service: printspooler, and then go to the second step.
