WIN7 password reset disk creation and use tutorial

Our computer users often encounter problems with the system login password being forgotten. In Windows 7, you can make a password reset disk when the password is not forgotten. First, how to create a password reset disk
Preparation materials: USB flash drive, mobile hard disk or floppy disk (now floppy disk is not used)
Insert USB flash drive, mobile hard disk or floppy disk.

The password reset wizard jumps out and press Next.

Private password reset disk
In fact, just write a password file named userkey.psw to the USB flash drive, the size is 2K. You can copy the userkey.psw file from the disk to another location and copy it back to the USB flash drive if needed.

Second, how to use the password reset disk recovery password
Insert your password reset disk.
After entering the wrong password during login, the password will be reset under the password box and click.

You can set a new password. Enter it again and confirm it again. “Password hints”You can not enter. (“Password Tips” is the text that is displayed each time you log in to help you remember your password.)

Click to complete.
Sign in with your new password.
Tips: 1) After creating a password reset disk, no matter how many times you change the password, the reset disk is valid. 2) As long as there is a password reset disk, anyone can reset your password, so this disk should be kept safe.
