A research and development member of the Windows 7 desktop team revealed to the media the true meaning of the Windows 7 Aero theme. He said that including Windows Vista, Aero is composed of three parts: Aero Shake, Aero Snap and Aero Peek. Aero represents four spirits in terms of metaphor, which are real, energetic, reflective and open.
The developer also explained in detail the functions of the three components of Aero:
Aero Shake:
Users can select one of the windows on the desktop, mouse, and then shake it on the screen. Other windows (not selected and shaken by the mouse) are minimized to the taskbar. After the other windows are minimized, if the user continues to shake, the other windows will be reset to the previous position on the desktop.
Aero Snap:
This function refers to the change of the application window when the user drags the window to the left, right, top left and top right of the screen.
Aero Peek:
