Let's take the popular WIN7 system as an example to introduce how to transfer temporary folders from the system disk. The Windows XP system method is similar, but the XP system has become a past tense. Interested friends can also try it. The method is as follows:
1.) First enter the control panel of the WIN7 system - then enter "System and Security" ” Then in the upper left corner of the interface will see "advanced system settings", we can click to enter, as shown below:

Click on the above picture “ Advanced System Settings & rdquo; will then play the "System Properties" dialog box, then we switch to the "Advanced" tab in the Properties dialog box, and then click on the "Environment Variables" below, then pop up Environment Variables dialog box, as shown below:

3.) As shown above, in the Environment Variables dialog box we will see the “TEMP” and “TMP” options, The temporary folder setting options, we select separately, and then click the following edit to modify the location of the temporary file storage, the default is stored in the system C drive, we replace the next path, such as Change to D drive or other non-C drive, as shown below:

As shown in the above figure, in the Edit User Variable dialog box, we can modify the variable value path, which will be temporary. Change the path saved by the folder to another disk. After the change is completed, don't forget to click “Determine” at the bottom. After the change, you can complete the modification. This will not be the system file in the future. This can effectively reduce system disk garbage, thereby improving the stability and speed of the system, and interested friends may wish to try.
