17 new compatible apps for embedded Windows 7

May 22nd, Microsoft Windows Embedded Team Project Director JT Kimbell announced in an official blog today that the embedded Windows 7 operating system Windows Embedded Standard 7 has added 17 compatible applications and templates, which can help developers more Develop Standard 7 images faster and easier. These 17 new additions to Microsoft's compatibility applications list include third-party applications, such as some important anti-virus, security, and thin client applications, in addition to Microsoft's own applications. The following is a list of these 17 applications:

Microsoft at 4 Windows Embedded Standard 7 was officially released in the month, and soon after the introduction to original equipment vendors, ordinary consumers can also purchase the embedded Windows7 system. In mid-May, the Microsoft Download Center provides a free evaluation version of Standard 7 for all users interested in this product to download.

The evaluation version provided by Microsoft is only available in English. The download size varies from 139.4 MB to 9456.2 MB depending on the selected component. The minimum hardware configuration is: 1GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (amd64) processor, 1 GB system memory (32-bit), 64-bit requires 2GB RAM, 7 GB free hard disk space, DVD drive, USB 2.0 port; minimum software Requirements: One of the following operating systems must be running: Windows Vista SP1/SP2, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 7, .NET Framework 2.0 or higher, Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) 6.0 and higher.
