Windows 7 users simply enjoy the gorgeous dream desktop

After the official release of Windows 7, many features have been deleted, including the dream desktop in Windows Vista Ultimate. So, is it impossible to continue to use the fantasy desktop in Windows 7? In fact, it is easy to enjoy the gorgeous dream desktop.

Fantasy Desktop was originally a unique feature in Vista Ultimate. With it, you can play video files on your desktop to make your desktop more beautiful and luxurious!

First download http://www.shudoo.com/bzsoft to download "Windows 7 Dream Desktop Patch". After unzipping, right click on "Windows7-DreamScene.exe" and run the installation as administrator. Press any key in the pop-up command prompt window to continue (as shown in Figure 1). The installer will automatically copy DreamScene.dll to the "%WinDir%\\System32" folder, copy DreamScene.dll.mui to the "%WinDir%\\System32\\en-US" folder and add the required registry key.

After completion, right click on the taskbar and select "Start Task Manager", then select "Explorer.exe" process and end the process. Then, in the Task Manager window, click "File → New Task" to open the window for creating a new task. Enter the "explorer.exe" command to restart the "Explorer.exe" process. Next, right click on the desktop and you will see the addition of the "Play DreamScene" command, and right click on any WMV and MPG file to select the "Set as Desktop Background" command, set it as a dream desktop (such as Figure 2).
