Step 1:

Create a new notebook and enter the following in it:

Similarly, if you want to cancel the preview function of a file format, add the suffix of the corresponding format of each file.

Step 2:

Go to any folder, click "Tools" → "Folder Options", switch to the "View" tab in the dialog that opens, and then In the "Advanced Settings" area, pull the slider on the right to find "Always show icons, never show thumbnails".
