Windows 7 system file sharing method: family group

Now there are several computers in the home. It is very common to make several computers in the home to form a local area network. It is very necessary to share files and online games. However, setting up a local area network is a pain for many friends. You need to set up a working group. Set up login methods, open services, etc., and often have small problems that cannot be shared. I believe many of my friends have encountered such a situation, but in Windows 7, there is another way to share files: the family group, making setting up the LAN is no longer a problem.

Step1: Go to the Network and Sharing Center of the Control Panel and click on the Select Family Group and Sharing option.

Step2: Create a family group. In the pop-up interface, choose to create a family group. In general, we can select all shared content. Click Next. After waiting, a password will appear. Remember this password. This is the credentials of someone entering your family group. Now your The family group has been built.

Step3: Join the family group. Now you can add computers in the same LAN to your home group. Go to the control panel and find the family group option. After clicking Enter, you will automatically find the family group you created earlier, choose to join immediately, enter the previous family group password, and wait for it to join.

PS: After the home group is set up, the shared password is more complicated, so you must write it down or change it to your usual password. In addition, since the wireless network will be searched by others, the set family password should not be too simple.

How to share files in a home group

Click Open to see several library folders such as videos and pictures. Generally, you can send the files you need to share to the corresponding library.
