From this point of view, Windows 7 does not repeat the same mistakes of Windows Vista, and works well with the hardware and software ecosystem.

So far, the number of Windows users worldwide has exceeded one billion, of which 3 million developers are creating applications, and 90% of these applications are developed for the Windows operating system.

Microsoft pointed out that currently, there are more than 800,000 unique applications (including multiple versions: 32/64 bit and language) running tests in Windows 7. And the applications designed for Windows 7 are thousands, and Microsoft can't calculate the exact number at all.

In PDC 2009, Microsoft said that at present, in order to obtain the "Windows 7 compatible" certification mark, many partners are trying their best to provide high quality software and hardware products for Windows 7. To date, 1,700 hardware and software companies have submitted 9,000 products with the "Windows 7 compatible" certification mark to Microsoft.
