Startup and Shutdown

It's hard to imagine that only a certain degree of patching was done on Vista (6.0), Windows 7 (6.1) has even XP Unmatched boot and shutdown speed —— From the end of the boot self test to the Windows login interface, 20 seconds is a conservative estimate. Is Microsoft deliberately letting Vista act as a negative textbook?

Taskbar

Larger icons, more concise expressions, richer operations, and a taskbar that hasn't changed substantially since Windows 95 has finally been completely renewed. Cheers, the window icons and titles have to be squashed in the taskbar that is not in ample space! Um …… Even though high-resolution/widescreen displays are gaining popularity, the number of windows that open at the same time will only continue to grow in the future with increased system performance support. What's more, the thumbnail of the window content is obviously more intuitive than a line of text (still truncated).

Desktop

Starting with Vista, Microsoft finally understands that "Desktop Gadgets" and "Automatically Switch Wallpapers" should be one of the built-in features of the system? I seem to have heard the lament of many tools that provide such features, but I have to admit that many users, including me, are very happy with Microsoft's ability to expand the system, although this must be a reduction in the space and system of other software. The increase in volume comes at the cost.

Default Program Settings

Prior to Vista, it was a nuisance to modify the default program for Windows to open a file type (or a network protocol such as HTTP or FTP). Using the registry to do this may be more user-friendly than the "humanized" interface provided by the system. But now the situation has changed a lot, we can easily select or exclude the file types and protocols that it can open for a particular program (although IE, Windows Media Player still maintains the hegemonic tradition, but with the past Better than it is).
