On a virtual machine with 700M memory, Win7 works well. Win7, which has no program running when it is idle, occupies 360-400MB of memory, and only uses half. After opening 10 Explorer windows, the memory uses 400-425M.

Continue testing, the system uses 210-290M in 500M memory. When the 300M memory is available, the system is obviously stuck, but it can still be started smoothly with 250M memory usage when idle. It seems that Win7's limit memory usage should be around 250M. The performance is very good.

Note: Win7 and Vista contain some programs that automatically take up a certain amount of memory. For example, 2G memory usually takes up about 1GB of memory, while 1GB of memory takes up 512MB of memory. When the memory is insufficient, it will be automatically released for the user to call urgently.
