Can Windows 7 and Vista download in hibernation?

Q: I often download movies all night, but the normal boot state is very power-intensive. I have heard that Windows 7 and Vista can be downloaded in hibernation. Is this really true? How to set up?

A: Yes, both Windows 7 and Vista can put the system to sleep, which is "away mode", but will not disconnect the network and continue to run the download task. The registry settings are as follows.

Run the Registry Editor and navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Control\\SessionManager\\Power". Then right-click in the blank space on the right side of the window, create a new "DWORD32-bit" value, and name it "AwayModeEnabled". Double-click the key value and assign it to "1" (hexadecimal) to enable the leave mode. If you do not want to use the Windows 7 leave mode, delete the "AwayModeEnabled" key value.
