Windows 2008 R2 SP1 deployment Exchange2010 SP1

1 experimental environment

1) Domain: fengxja.com, domain functional level and forest functional level is Windows
server 2003 mode.

2) Domain controller: FENG-DC01, Windows2008 R2 SP1 Enterprise Edition, 5 operations master role servers, certificate server.

3) Exchange2010 server: FENG-EX01, join fengxja.com domain, Windows2008 R2 SP1 Enterprise Edition, install Exchange2010 target server.

2 Preparing the Architecture

1) Log in to the FENG-DC01 as domain administrator.

2) Put the exchange2010 installation CD into the FENG-DC01 CD-ROM drive.

2.1Prepare the schema

1) Open the command line as an administrator, switch to the root directory of the CD, and run “setup.com /ps”.

2.2 Preparing the organization

Open the command line as an administrator, switch to the root directory of the CD, and run “setup.com /PrepareAD /OrganizationName: ExchangeFENG” : ExchangeFENG's organization name for itself.

2.3 Preparing the local domain

Open the command line as an administrator, switch to the root directory of the CD, and run “setup /pd”.

3 Installing Operating System
Required Software

1) Log in to the FENG-EX01 server as a domain administrator.

2) Install the 64-bit version of the Microsoft Office 2010 Filter Pack. (It is recommended to install Microsoft Office 2010 Filter Pack 2.0 version, as it is also required to install exchange2010 SP1 later.) Download link: upload/201106081647092278.png" target="\\"_blank\\"">

4 Install Exchange2010

1) Log in to the FENG-EX01 server as domain management and put it into the exchange2010 installation CD.

2) Run the disc setup or double-click on the disc.

3) In "Step 3: Select Exchange Language Selection", select "Install the language from DVD only".

4) Select “Step 4 to install microsoft exchange”.

5) Next step.

6) Accept the agreement, the next step.

7) By default, the next step.

8) Select “Custom Install & rdquo; and browse to change the Exchange program installation path. Then the next step.

9) Select “Mailbox Role",“Client Access Role",“Hub Transport Role”3 roles, then next.

10) In the organization there are any Outlook2003 or Entourage client computers, choose Yes, then Next.

11) Check the "Client Access Server will be facing the Internet", and then enter the external domain name mail.fengxja.com, the next step.

12) Choose not to participate in the improvement experience program, the next step.

13) Select “Install”.

14) Choose Finish.

5 Enter the exchange2010 product key

1) Log in to FENG-EX01 as a domain administrator.

2) Open the Exchange management console and select "Exchange Internal Deployment----Server Configuration---Mailbox", right-hand side---enter the product key and enter the product key.

3) Prompt for key verification, then click Finish.

4) Compare the console version changes before installing SP1 (above) and after installing SP1 (below):

5) Restart Exchange information storage service:

6 Install Exchange2010 SP1 patch

1) Install Microsoft Office 2010 Filter Pack2.0, as shown below, the installation is complete. (Installed in step 3, you can skip this step)

2) Log in to the Microsoft website to download the exchange2010 SP1 patch.

5) Choose to install the Mcorosoft Exchange Server upgrade.

6) Choose Next.

5) Choose to accept the agreement, the next step.

7) Next step.

8) Choose Upgrade.

9) Installation is complete.

10) Restart your computer.
