How to turn off smart card service on Win7 computer

1. First, press the win+R shortcut on the Win7 computer keyboard to open the computer's running window. In the open running window, type gpedit.msc and click Enter. This will open the Win7 computer. The Group Policy Editor window is up.

2. In the Open Group Policy Editor window, click to expand Computer Configuration ——Manage Modules——windows Components——Smart Card, then right Double-click each of the side windows to open the following four options: enable certificate propagation for smart cards, enable horizontal certificate propagation in smart cards, force all certificates to be read from smart cards, and turn on smart card plug-and-play services.

3. In the open edit window, disable these four services separately.
