Basic questions about configuring VPN+NAT in Windows XP system

If you are working on a network promotion, you may need to use the VPN to share the Internet, etc. Now let's analyze it for everyone. I used to have a friend to do seo, I need to look at the promotion situation of my side, so I used Windows 7 to build a vpn for him. Through some predecessors' articles, I successfully built a single network card VPN under Windows XP and Windows 7. NAT sharing Internet access. I don't like the picture above, I write the article just for technical memory, I know it ok

Note: Windows desktop operating system only supports one VPN connection at a time

Operation steps

1 , modify the registry HKLMSYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesTcpipParametersIPEnabledRouter=1

2, start the service

start the Routing And Remote Access service (required)

Stop the system firewall service, or add the vpn port 1723 exception to Firewall Rules

If you need to use LAN

Start Server, Workstation, TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service (the above 3 services are basically started by default, unless extremely optimized computer), see Some articles also need to start the RemoteRegistry service, I think it is not necessary to be unsafe, no actual measurement

3, open the network connection & ldquo; incoming connection & rdquo;, right-click properties, check "ld"; allow others to pass The Internet or other network establishes a dedicated connection to my computer in the same way as "tunnel operation". ”User” tab to add a new vpn user or check the existing computer user as a vpn account. “Network“ tab Internet Protocol 4 properties set vpn address pool or use DHCP to automatically assign

4, set NAT

Run the following command in cmd

netsh

routing ip install

add interface name=”local connection" mode=full

add interface name=”internal"mode=private

At this point, the configuration is complete, if you can not dial, after rebooting

Windows Vista/7 netsh does not routing this module
