WinXP "Stop write failure" error

Q: The computer uses a dual hard drive. Recently, an error message pops up in the system tray, prompting the write failure to be delayed, and then on my computer, the D drive and the G drive disappear. After rebooting, all partitions are visible, but when the data in the D or G disk is operated, the system will freeze and blue screen restart. Why is this?
