Windows 7 system installation VMware7.1 error

Q: I was incorrect when I installed VMware 7.1 on a 64-bit Windows 7 system. The prompt message is as follows:

Error 1402.Could not open key:UNKNOWN\\Components\\7ABFE44842C12B390AF18C3B9B1A1EE8\\4A94D9E94FD183147BBDD5788A3980E8.Verify that you have sufficIE browser nt access to that key, or contact you support personnel.

Seeing the prompt seems to be my permission is not enough? But there is only one netizen in the system, how can there be no permission?

A: To deal with this kind of question, you have to modify the registry. Under Windows 7, modify the registry to run as an administrator. Type "regedit.exe" in the "Start → Search Box", then right click and select "Run as administrator" to open the Registry Editor. Navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion \\Installer\\UserData\\S-1-5-18\\Components \\7ABFE44842C12B390AF18C3B9B1A1EE8 (the last paragraph depends on your error). Right click on this item and select “Permissions”. Add the “Administrator”, “Administrators” and “SYSTEM” accounts, and assign all permissions. Click the Advanced button and check “Use the permissions that can be inherited according to this object. Replace all child object permissions, click the "Owner" button to ensure that the current netizen has ownership, and finally click OK. Now install VMware again, no error will be reported.
