Can the Winsxs folder of the Win7 system be deleted?

winsxs is a very important folder in Win 7's Windows directory. There are many important components in this folder. The version is also very complicated. In order to ensure the normal operation of Windows, the files inside are not deleted. These folders support mscorwks.dll and can't be loaded without them nmscorwks. If you force the deletion, you may only be able to enter Windows in safe mode, and Windows will also hang up.

The winsxs folder can't be deleted directly, but there are some ways to slim down the winsxs folder.

Method 1:

1. Just download a PE tool disk image from the Internet, then make a U disk boot system, start the computer with a USB flash drive, and then delete the unused files.

2, buy a D version of the Ghost system CD, generally with a PE system, boot into the PE system, delete the files on the hard disk.

3, use the hard disk lossless partition tool to adjust the size of the original C drive. However, this is best handled by the software on the PE tool disk. Do not install it under Win7 to prevent the system from crashing.

Method 2:

1. First download and unzip the optimized winsxs folder software

2. After opening, you can see 32-bit and 64-bit programs. Don't choose the wrong one.

3, the default selection: WinSxS temporary file cleaning is a major feature of this software.

4, the default selected items (recommended deletion), you can clean up.

5. After selecting the cleanup project, click the scan button at the bottom right.

6. If it has never been cleaned up, this is a long process and wait patiently for the scan results.
