100% resolved Win7 SP1 prompt missing components can not be installed

First of all, I would like to express my sincere apologies, because the Windows 7 users who have this problem are basically caused by the slimming function in Win7 Optimizer. Of course, some friends have watched other manual Raiders on the Internet or used other software, but because of the amount of users, it is undeniable that our Win7 optimization master is "the main culprits". We have removed this feature in Rubik's Cube 2.02 and will not have this type of problem. We also recommend everyone to use Rubik's Cube 2.0 as a new generation of software products.

First, the cause

Win7 optimization master system cleaning function, the system slimming this function lists the driver backup project, if you choose and clean these drivers when you are slimming Backups can cause problems that cannot be installed during Windows 7 SP1 installation or online upgrade. The prompt is that the system lacks the necessary components.

This system slimming function was available in April 2009 (starting with Win7 Optimizer 1.0 Beta), and we can't predict that this will happen in two years. Of course, this can't be used as an excuse and reason for us to shirk responsibility. The Rubik's Cube specially sorted out this article and completely solved this problem for friends who don't want to reinstall Windows 7 with integrated SP1.

Second, solve

Please work hard, follow our steps below to solve, not too complicated.

Step 1: Download the deleted driver backup file and extract it

The driver backup inside the slimming function deletes some files in this folder C:\\Windows\\System32\\DriverStore\\FileRepository Folder, we have packaged this folder ——

32-bit Windows 7 Please: Click here to download 113MB

64-bit Windows 7 Please click here to download 194MB

Please unzip it after downloading. If you don't know if your system is 32-bit or 64-bit, right-click on the computer in the Start menu and look at the system properties. Or click on the small report inside the Rubik's Cube and you will see it.

Second Step: Restore deleted files

1. Get target folder administrator rights

First, please ask the landscaping master inside Rubik's Cube, click above&ldquo Right-click menu customization & rdquo;, then click on the left side of the "Add right-click menu item", select the right side of the "administrators take ownership (files, folders)", click on the bottom right corner of the "application" & rdquo;. In this way, when you right click on a file or folder, there will be an additional "Administrative Ownership" item in the menu. If you are logged in directly with the administrator user, you can skip this step.

Then, open the Explorer and open the C:\\Windows\\System32\\DriverStore\\ folder.

In the FileRepository folder, right click and click "“ Administrator Takes Ownership" in the menu. This time, a command line window will pop up and you will wait for tens of seconds. Wait for the command line window to close automatically.

2, folder restore operation: Then, copy or cut all the contents of FileRepository in the file you just extracted, paste it into C:\\Windows\\System32\\ DriverStore\\FileRepository inside this folder.

If you have a prompt to overwrite the file, etc., click OK all the way (because the number of files is large, remember to check the remaining files below to do this). As shown below:

After all the folders have been successfully pasted, they are completed. If you still have problems with insufficient prompts, do not close the prompt window. You can re-acquire the administrator privileges of the C:\\Windows\\System32\\DriverStore\\FileRepository folder and click Retry. Or you can right click on this folder -> Properties, then click the "Security" tab, click the Edit button, manually add your current Windows username permissions, set to full control and click Retry File Copy. .

Below, you can install Windows 7 SP1. Whether you are installing the SP1 patch package separately or installing Win7 SP1 online via Windows Update, you will be 100% sure.
