Solve the system restore function of Win7 dual system user failure

Symptoms:

A lot of friends complained that after installing Windows 7 and XP dual systems, once they enter Windows XP, they can't use System Restore after returning to Windows 7.

Cause analysis:

This is because the restore points of XP and Win7 systems are stored in the same folder in the root directory of the partition, as long as the restore point is created and the other system is in the same partition. The restore point will be destroyed. Of course, not only dual-system users, but also multi-system users such as Vista will encounter this problem. If another system in your dual system is not a Windows system, you will naturally not encounter such a problem.

Workaround:

There is currently no good solution. If you want to keep the system restore function of one of the systems, you must turn off this function of another system.

For example, under XP, under Control Panel - “ System Properties & ldquo; - & rdquo; System Restore & rdquo; - “ Available Drives & rdquo;, select partition - & ldquo; settings & rdquo; - & ldquo; Turn off System Restore on the drive.

This way, this function under XP is turned off, thus preserving the system restore function of Windows7.

Conversely, you have to turn off the system restore function of Win7:(

If you have a better way, you can provide it.
