How to improve win7 startup performance

It is undeniable that in order to improve the performance of Windows 7, Microsoft has made great efforts, especially for the startup and shutdown speed of Win7. Some time ago, Microsoft revealed that the company will continue to improve the performance of Windows 8, and do its best to optimize the startup and shutdown speed of Windows 8. However, although the boot performance of Windows 7 is much better than that of Windows Vista, users will still encounter startup problems in some cases. Microsoft said that users who run Win7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, when they set the desktop background to a solid color, it is possible to wait for a longer boot time. Microsoft pointed out that during the login process, the welcome interface may last for nearly 30 seconds. In fact, according to Microsoft's plan, the entire startup process of Windows 7 should last only 30 seconds, instead of a welcome interface it takes 30 seconds. However, Microsoft said that in the following cases, users will not encounter long-term startup waits: login to the computer using a remote desktop connection, desktop window session manager service is stopped or disabled, the image file is set to Desktop background (using a non-solid desktop background). Microsoft pointed out that Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 can fix the above specific problems, but the official version of Windows 7 SP1 will not be released until the first half of 2011. Currently, users affected by the above startup issues can download patches through Microsoft Support. In addition, Microsoft has provided users with several solutions to solve the above problems: #1, set the image file as the desktop background; #2, set the value of the DelayedDesktopSwitchTimeout registry entry.
