How to change the autoplay settings in Windows 7

  
After the user puts an audio CD or DVD in the CD-ROM drive, do you want Windows 7 to automatically start the user's favorite player and start playing? When the tour returns, connect the digital camera to the computer, do you want Windows 7 to automatically put all the photos? Imported to the computer? This will use the autoplay feature of win7 Ultimate. The current autoplay feature is not limited to optical drives, but can be used for many different types of devices. Open the Control Panel and click the <quo;Programs”—“Change Media or Device Defaults" option, and then open the AutoPlay Options screen similar to the one shown below. Windows 7 Auto Play Settings interface First, the auto play function is enabled by default. So if you don't want to use this feature, you need to uncheck the option "Use autoplay for all media and devices" in the interface shown above. You can then set different autoplay options for different device types. For example, placing an audio CD in an optical drive can also be automatically played using Windows Media Player, or saved to a hard disk using Windows Media Player. The user can decide the specific operation according to the difference of the files saved in the device, and the options provided by the system are also closely related to the type of the file. For example, there are options for playing audio and video files; however, the option to import to a computer is provided for the graphics file. If other software that can handle this type of file is installed in the system download, the software will also be listed in the options list for the user to select.

After setting it, click the “Save” button to apply the changes.
