Windows 7 system built-in ZIP file extraction function

In Windows 7, when the system recognizes the existence of a ZIP file, the resource manager will automatically call it, prompting the user to extract the files in the current ZIP package. BR>
Before the Windows system supports the ZIP file format, users are complaining about Microsoft, "even such popular file formats are not supported." When Microsoft started supporting files in ZIP format since Windows Vista, users felt that this feature was "optional," and some even thought that this feature was purely "chicken." In

Windows7, when the system recognizes the existence of a file with a ZIP format, the resource manager will automatically call associated therewith, the user prompts the file can be extracted in the current ZIP package (FIG. 1).

this regard, some users believe that, Windows7 system built-in function to extract the ZIP file, no WinRARA more convenient in operation, and therefore wants to abolish this association. In

Windows7 system, run the registry editor, were set to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT /CLSID /branch (2) and HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT /CLSID /branch (FIG. 3), and then delete the corresponding branch- Just fine.

Exit Registry Editor, restart, change to take effect.

Comments:

the above method, although simple and straightforward, but I do not recommend using. If WinRAR is already installed on your system, you can change the default association program to WinRAR by modifying the way the ZIP file is opened.
