Locking Privacy
1. Privacy photos, diary inbound mailboxes to save
If you have some privacy photos, diaries, and old love letters that you don’t want others to know Mail, etc., must be locked, we believe that the safest way is not to store locally, compress these private files into a compressed package with a password, and then upload it to a stable mailbox (such as Gmail, QQ mailbox) This will solve the conflict between saving memory and family harmony.
First copy the privacy photos, diary and other privacy files to a folder, then open WinRAR, directly click the "Add" button to add the folders where these sensitive files are located. Press Ctrl+P to enter the encryption password in the window that opens (see Figure 1).
For more security, it is recommended to check the "encrypted file name", so that the file name can be directly encrypted. Even if you double-click to open the compressed package, you will not see the file name in the preview window.
Finally, send the encrypted compression package directly to your mailbox in the form of an email attachment. However, it is best to set a friendly label or attachment name in the mailbox to avoid more convenient mailing in the future.
Tip: There are a lot of network hard disks available, but like this sensitive privacy file, it is best not to choose to save it on the network hard disk, it is safer and more stable to save in the mailbox. In case the network hard drive is out of service someday, then you can cry without tears.
2. Reject threats Privacy files local camouflage
If you can't get a network on your computer? If you want others to practice encryption files, you can also use the "folder camouflage tool" software to disguise any folder on the hard disk as "My Computer", "My Network Places", "Recycle Bin" and other systems. Special files, so that even if someone clicks on the icon to enter, what is seen is the normal content option of the system.
The usage is simple: first move the files that need to be kept secret to a new folder. Open the software and click "Browse" to set the path to this folder. Select the system icon you want to disguise, such as "My Computer", then add the password and click the "Start Camouflage" button. At this time, the file becomes the "My Computer" icon. If someone else accidentally clicks on the icon, they can only see the hard disk drive letter instead of the original folder. Recovering a disguised folder is also very simple, just enter the password you want to set.
Tip: This camouflage method is still valid after the Windows system is reinstalled. Remember, this password must be remembered, otherwise your baby photos and diary will not be restored.
