System update, varies from person to person

Computer poisoning or being compromised is generally caused by system vulnerabilities, so it is necessary to update the system in time, however, due to user use The time of the computer is different, some are fixed, some are not regular, so the system update settings should also vary from person to person. Start the "Operation Center" and go to "Change Settings" on the right side of "Windows Update" (Figure 1).

In the "Select Windows Update Options" dialog box, there are two types of "Automatically Install Updates" and "Let Me Choose". The former is the default option, and is installed and updated according to the defined settings. More flexible. If the usage time is fixed, you can directly select the former. If the time is not fixed, it is best to choose the latter. In the "Choose Windows Install Update Method" dialog box, select "Download Update, but let me choose whether to install the update" ( As shown in Figure 2), select the time to update according to the actual situation. For system security, it is not recommended to select "Never check for updates."

Tip: After selecting the update method, once the system is updated, a prompt will pop up in the task tray. If you feel that you want to cancel the pop-up balloon from time to time, just click "Close the message about ‘Windows Update'. If you want to reopen the prompt considering the security of the system, click the down arrow button on the right side of "Security", and click "Open the message about Windows Update" under "Windows Update" in the pop-up window.
