Three simple ways to speed up your Win7 system running

  

Even with a higher hardware configuration, the system will slow down for a long time, XP is the same, Win7 is the same. In fact, how the system is used entirely in personal habits, as long as you master the following three methods, you can make your Win7 run faster.

1. Modifying Startup Programs

Many of the software and applications installed on your computer want to set themselves up to start with your computer every time. In some cases, they will run immediately after you log in to Windows. At other times they will run silently in the background. Either way, these running programs can greatly slow down your computer. And as time goes on, more and more software sets itself up to boot, which eventually leads to waste of system resources and even system crash.

Click the Start button, type Msconfig in the search box and press Enter. In the System Configuration window, switch to the Startup tab.

You will find many different startup items in this window, deselect the programs that you don't want to run with the system startup, and click the "OK" button when you are done. At this point you will be prompted to reboot, we can choose not to restart, so the next time you start Win7 settings will take effect.

If you are not sure what program can be canceled, you can leave all Microsoft software and all other third-party software.

2. Delete Temporary Internet Files
As time goes on, the temporary Internet files on the computer slow down the computer a lot. And it will take up valuable hard disk
space. Deleting these files can help restore some speed, especially if you are using a small space hard drive.

Click the Start button and select Control Panel - Internet Options. Find "Browsing History" in the first "General" tab and click the "Delete..." button.

A new window will pop up, giving you a number of different history records that can be deleted. Select the item you want to delete and click the "Delete" button. They have been removed from your computer.

3.Run Disk Cleanup

In addition to temporary Internet files, Win7 also stores a lot of junk files. The built-in disk cleaning tool can delete these files quickly and efficiently.
Click the Start button and open "All Programs - Accessories - System Tools
- Disk Cleanup".

Select the partition to be cleaned. Generally, the junk files of the system will be stored in the C drive, which is the system disk on which Win7 is installed. After selecting it, click the "OK" button, the Disk Cleanup Tool will start scanning the partition to find the junk files that can be deleted.

Select the type of junk files you want to delete, and finally click the "OK" button, the Disk Cleanup Tool will delete them all.

The above are the three basic methods to speed up the system, and the easiest, all users can easily operate. As long as we can develop good habits and regularly give the system a hand and foot, we can guarantee the normal and fast operation of the system to a certain extent.
