Win7 shared printer appears "Unable to save printer settings operation cannot be completed Error 0x00000d9"

Windows 7 system shared printer appears "Cannot save printer settings operation cannot be completed Error 0x00000d9”.

This problem is caused by the firewall windows firewall service not being turned on. Solution:

Open the windows firewall service

Method 1

1. Right click on my computer, select Manage and open management;

2. Open the services and applications on the left, double-click on the service on the right and open it;

3. In the list of services that appear, find the windows firewall and select Enable.

Method 2

1. Locate the firewall under Control Panel;

2. Use the recommended settings or enable the firewall.
