Win8 create VHD virtual disk graphic tutorial

Win8 VHD virtual disk function does not know that you have experienced it, vhd is a function from Win7, you can divide a certain space in the C drive, and then use this space to virtualize a hard disk, generally used to install multiple operating systems . Win8 also adds support for virtual disks, and can directly open vhd, iso and other files, which is more convenient for users to use. Operation method
Under the traditional desktop, move the mouse pointer to the lower left corner, click the right mouse button (or use the Win+X shortcut), and select “Disk Management” in the menu that opens.
In the Disk Management window, click “Action"---“Create VHD>;

In the newly opened "Create and Attach Virtual Hard Disk" window, first select &ldquo ; Browse”;

First, specify the location where a virtual disk file is saved. Refer to the figure below. After selecting the save location, please name the virtual disk file. After setting it, click “Save”;

When the VHD save location is specified, we will set the size for it. You can refer to the figure below to set it up. When it is set, click “OK”.
Note: "Virtual hard disk format" and "virtual hard disk type" can be set according to the actual situation, but it is recommended to use the default setting.



When the virtual disk is created, we need to initialize it, as shown below, right click on the disk 1 & rdquo; select “ initialize disk & rdquo;;

select After opening the window to initialize the disk, the disk partition form MBR and GPT should be selected according to the actual situation. After selecting it, click “OK”; OK”;
