How to create a virtual machine

using Win8's own components There are many ways to create a virtual machine, but do you know that Win8's own components can also create virtual machines? In fact, the Win8 system will use the built-in component Hyper-V function for the first time. Integrated in a personal system, its functions are similar to virtual machine software such as VMware and VirtualBox, and it has its excellent features. With Hyper-V, we can easily create virtual machines directly.
The Hyper-V feature in Win8 requires the following:
System requirements: 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 8 can be enabled for Hyper-V, but only 64-bit Windows 8 can create virtual machines, 32-bit The system is not allowed, only the virtual machine can be linked. Since the maximum memory supported by the 32-bit system is only 4G, even if the virtual machine function is enabled, the virtual machine function will not be obtained, so the function of the virtual machine is cancelled in the 32-bit system.
Device Requirements: Hyper-V requires secondary address translation (SLAT) and supports virtualized CPU (AMD-V or Intel-VT).
Enable Hyper-V function for Win8
The default setting of Hyper-V function is off in Win8 system. We need to enable this function first. First enter the control panel of the Win8 system and select “Program”. In the "Programs" panel, select “Enable or turn off Windows features”.

Check the "Hyper-V" option in the "Windows Features" dialog box and click “OK”.
Note: If the system and hardware conditions are not met, the “Hyper-V” option will be grayed out.

After starting the Hyper-V function of Win8 system, you need to restart the system in order to complete the startup of the Windows hypervisor and virtual machine management service. After restarting the Win8 system, you can see the Hyper-V related application tile in the start screen.
The above briefly introduces the Hyper-V function that comes with the Win8 system and how to create a virtual machine. Since the Hyper-V supports the virtual switch function, the NIC in the virtual system must be connected to the virtual switch before connecting to the network. This feature of Win8 provides a lot of convenience for some friends who need to use the virtual machine. Interested friends may wish to try it.
